She pulls herself up on anything and everything around, even if its a wall, and gets around walking that way. She practically runs if we are holding her fingers to help her walk. The other day I pulled my fingers out of her death grip to try to get her to stand by herself. She stood for a second and then lowered herself down very slowly and gently onto her knees.
Sariah's favorite words are "Hi" and "Hey." She goes around all day say them. The other day Jon said he was in the kitchen doing homework and she came in and said "Dad" and he said "what" and she said "Hi" and continued to blabber on about something. She also says mom and momma but not as much as dada or dad. She also says nana. When we say thank you she says a tanku sound that sounds like thank you.
It was awesome the other day I was doing laudry and I accidentally dropped a sock on the ground and Sariah was at my feet. I asked Sariah to pick it up please and she did and handed it to me. I said thank you and then she mocked the sound. I have sliding doors infront of the washer and dryer so I had to slide the doors over to access the other machine and when I did that she was able to access the big water jugs so as I did it she saw them and said "tanku" and started playing with them. I thought it was pretty awesome she connected what it meant. Well at least I like to think so.
Sariah seems to really be calming down too. She is really good at listening, she doesnt get into stuff like she was about 3 or4 weeks ago. Maybe the baby locks on cupboards helped that but I dont know. She is becoming more and more of a little person everyday instead of a baby.
Jon is doing well in school and is enjoying his classes and working less. We have been very blessed financially and are doing well which is more than we expected.
I am going to school part time now which is T-F 12:30-6 and Sat 8-5. It is still quite a bit of time but its good for now. If anyone doesn't already know I am pregnant again. I dont know exactly how far along I am but I am at least 8 weeks but I feel like I a further than that. I have a doctors appointment on Feb 9th and we are having an untrasound so we can find out how far along I am. Well I think thats it
Oh also Dustin moved in this month and having him here has been good. No stress added. The only thing was that we had to move our food storage under our bed which made it about 4 1/2 ft. tall. There are four food storage boxes (six cans in each box) at each corner of the bed. So it wont be easy getting in the bed as I get further along, I can barely jump up onto it now, we will have to get me a ladder or something.
Here are some pics from this month.
Here is Sariah sleeping so sweetly. Shes just so cute.
Here is Jon after drinkin a smoothy.....you can see the remains of his smoothy on his teeth and around his mouth.
